Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a hybrid role that combines supply chain planning with customer service operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring supply planning continuity and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. This role will maintain ongoing communication with customers on any related customer service issues and will work closely with Sales, Logistics, and our 3PL external partners. The ideal candidate will also support master data management and data analytics while maintaining high standards of accuracy and communication. This role is a hybrid role that reports to our Philadelphia office on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries, order fulfillment issues, in-stock dates, and issue resolution.
- Back up for processing customer orders to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment and delivery.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, delays, fulfillment issues, changes and recovery dates.
- Coordinate customer claims such as shortages, overages, damages and other chargebacks.
- Escalate complex issues and follow through to resolution.
Supply Chain Planning
- Develop and maintain supply plans based on latest forecast demand, planning parameters, and supplier lead times.
- Collaborate with sourcing, logistics, and external 3PL teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage lead times and delivery schedules.
- Support S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
- Assist in generating and developing routine and ad-hoc reports related to supply chain performance and customer service metrics.
- Support data analysis efforts to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date master data for products, customers, and suppliers in NetSuite ERP systems.
- Support data validation and cleansing activities to ensure ERP system consistency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning and/or customer service.
- Experience with supply planning tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Dashboards, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP Systems (Preferably NetSuite)
- Familiarity with logistics and transportation management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
