Disaster Cleanup, Idaho’s #1 ranked disaster restoration and reconstruction company, is looking for dependable and motivated Disaster Recovery Technicians to join our team. We specialize in restoring homes and businesses after water, fire, mold, and biohazard damage—and we do it with professionalism, precision, and pride.
Position Overview
As a Disaster Recovery Technician, you’ll be on the front lines helping homeowners and businesses recover after unexpected disasters. You’ll perform emergency mitigation services, operate specialized drying and cleaning equipment, and ensure all work meets our high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency water, fire, and mold damage calls
- Extract water, set and monitor drying equipment, document readings
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup
- Assist in mold remediation and odor control processes
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Communicate clearly with team leads, managers, and customers
- Follow all safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and ensure compliance
- Be available for on-call rotation (after hours/weekends as needed)
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces or attics, and perform physical labor
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in construction, cleaning, or restoration is a plus
- IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) are preferred but not required—we’ll train the right person!
