Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections of property damage caused by events such as fire, water, wind, hail, or other perils. (interior with heavy emphasis on exterior i.e. roof, siding and gutters)
- Accurately document the scope of work, take precise measurements, and capture photo evidence.
- Assess and scope repairs for out-of-state claims using image scanning software.
- Prepare detailed scope of works using Xactimate & Symbility software
- Ensure timely submission of estimates and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, contractors, homeowners, and team members.
- Take ownership of each assigned project from commencement to completion.
- Maintain records of estimates, revisions, and communications.
- Familiarity with local and state building code requirements
- Stay up-to-date on construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
- Support internal teams with claim file reviews and document QA audits as needed.
- Apply industry leading SLA standards to your work and ensure required KPIs are met.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Xactimate Level 1 Certified (Level 2 Preferred).
- Core Logic Symbility.
- Proven ability to onboard and utilize unfamiliar software efficiently.
- Ability to operate a 3D scanning camera (Matterport/DocuSketch)
- Experience with TPA or managed repair program work for national insurance carriers.
- Excellent communication, customer service & relationship building skills.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
- Current motor vehicle license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk through damaged properties (may include climbing ladders, accessing attics/crawlspaces, etc.).
- Climb ladders and perform work assessments at heights above ground level.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and work in diverse weather conditions.
