The opportunity

Delaware North's Design and Construction team is hiring a Senior Project Manager for a major construction project near Denver, Colorado. As Senior Project Manager, you will manage multiple third-party construction vendors and coordinate the construction or renovation of Delaware North-owned properties. In addition, you will also manage small and large budgets and report on project issues, budgets, and scheduling timelines. Our ideal candidate has experience in gaming projects which may include casino gaming floor, hotel, retail, meeting / conference / events spaces, and food and beverage outlets. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $95,900 - $129,400 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

Coordinate environmental surveying, local agency permitting, PUD submission, traffic study, town hearings, and geotechnical work.
Coordinate the construction process, such as construction bids, bid negotiations, contracts, equipment arrivals, site personnel, build progress, issuance of progress payments, inspections, and resolution of plan deviations.
Manage and conduct value engineering at project milestones to ensure budget and timelines are met.
Conduct site visits to prepare estimates and evaluate the property condition, including FFE; document the present condition of the facility.
Prepare and record approval requests, commitments, contracts, and payment requests following company policy and guidelines.
Maintain all records and files pertinent to the design and construction of the projects.

More about you

A Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.
10 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
A minimum of three years of experience as an owner's representative or lead construction project manager overseeing projects exceeding $15M.
Knowledge and experience in purchasing, budgeting, negotiating, and awarding contracts.
