Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Water Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. In this hands-on role, you will respond to water damage emergencies, perform mitigation services, and help property owners recover quickly and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to water damage emergency calls in a timely and professional manner
- Inspect properties and assess the extent of water damage
- Perform water extraction using industry-standard equipment
- Remove water-damaged materials such as drywall, insulation, and flooring
- Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers)
- Apply antimicrobial agents to prevent mold growth
- Document moisture levels and job progress accurately using company software
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Maintain clean, safe job sites and follow all safety guidelines
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure complete satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in water mitigation or restoration
- IICRC certification or equivalent water restoration training is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
