Duration: 3 months with potential to extend/convert
Schedule: 4 days / 10 hour shifts - flexible on dates (scope with client)
Location: 100% Onsite in Seattle
Responsibilities
- Lead projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project charters, work plans, timelines, documentation, and deliverables using established project management methodologies.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and critical success factors in collaboration with executive leadership, business partners, stakeholders, and end users.
- Monitor project schedules, track progress, and communicate status updates, risks, and deliverables to project sponsors and leadership.
- Identify project risks, barriers, and issues, escalating concerns appropriately while recommending practical solutions.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Provide guidance on change management strategies to support end-user adoption and organizational readiness.
- Evaluate project plans and implementation activities, identifying opportunities to improve processes and optimize results.
- Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives, obtain approvals, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Participate in steering committees, quality improvement initiatives, and organizational planning efforts.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports and presentations for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate project tasks, monitor deliverables, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
- Perform additional project management and operational responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field (PMP certification may be substituted for a degree).
- 3–5 years of professional project management experience.
- Knowledge in managing projects and outputs in an Electronic Health Record System.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
- Experience developing project documentation, schedules, and executive-level reporting.
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management experience.
- Healthcare industry experience, particularly within community health or underserved populations.
- Experience supporting healthcare technology initiatives, including Epic EHR or other clinical systems.
- Familiarity with change management principles and quality improvement initiatives.
The pay range for this position is $35/hourly and $43/hourly. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
