About Bowery & Bash
Bowery & Bash is a women-owned (WBENC-certified) luxury event furniture rental company based in Chicago, serving corporate event planners, experiential agencies, and luxury wedding planners in Chicago and beyond. As we scale into new cities and streamline operations, we're building the backbone to support that growth, starting with our warehouse and logistics operations.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Logistics & Warehouse Operations Manager to take full ownership of our warehouse, fleet, and delivery operations. This is a strategic ownership position for someone with a proven record of building systems, leading people, and being directly accountable for the operational engine that gets our inventory into the field and back, on time, every time.
You'll manage the full lifecycle of our physical operations: delivery execution, fleet compliance, crew performance, and the systems that hold it all together. You'll also own people management for the warehouse and crew team, including hiring, training, and performance accountability.
If you're energized by solving logistics problems before they become fire drills, building systems from scratch, and managing a team with clear expectations and real consequences, this role is built for you.
Key Responsibilities

- Own warehouse and logistics operations end-to-end (with the help of our mighty team)
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks before they impact delivery or client experience

- Book and oversee freight company logistics, ensuring profitability and scalability as we expand out-of-state coverage
Growth-Mindedness
- Support operational scaling into new and existing markets
- Build repeatable systems and processes that can flex as order volume and geographic footprint increase
- Bring a growth-minded, innovative approach that aligns with the company's long-term vision
Fleet Compliance & Insurance
- Maintain fleet compliance with all applicable regulations and safeguards
- Manage vehicle insurance requirements and documentation
- Administer DOT audits
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and readiness
Delivery Fees & Fuel Card Payments
- Manage delivery fee structures and ensure accurate application across orders and within our rental software
- Oversee fuel card program administration and payment reconciliation
- Manage expenses and budget allocation

- Ensure inventory tracking, checklists, and SOPs are followed and kept current
Safety & Training
- Develop and lead safety protocols and training programs for warehouse and crew staff
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards
Payroll Reporting
- Prepare and manage payroll reporting for warehouse and delivery crew staff
- Ensure accurate time tracking and reporting for payroll processing
Crew Point System
- Administer and maintain the crew point system used to track performance, accountability, and incentives
- Use point system data to inform coaching, recognition, and disciplinary decisions

- Familiarity with fleet compliance, insurance, and vehicle maintenance requirements a plus
- Ability to work on-site, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility for delivery-driven schedule demands, offering on-call support as needed
