Role is in office in Media, PA four days a week.
Gift and accessories company (think wall art, frames, wall décor, storage items, etc., for the home), is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager.The Company does over $75M (wholesale) and is growing.
Responsibilities
- :Solid experience working with deliveries from factories in Asia
- .Strong freight/ocean/rail transportation experience and knowledge to handle all freight expeditiously
- .Book containers, coordinate with customs and fill out the appropriate paperwork (including suggesting the correct HTTS codes
- .Responsible for direct shipments from factory to customers as well as to distribution center
- .Owns the process and products from when order is placed to the factory
- .Use your experience working with freight forwarders to lower transit costs where applicable
- .Detail oriented and owns the delivery process
- .Motivated to do the work, follow through and get it done
- .Keeps track and follows up on factory orders and tracks their progress to ensure delivery dates are met. Works closely with all factories
- .Digs into issues and resolve them
- .Team player who has no problem helping to fill out spec sheets, listing the duty, designating the carton size, creating the UPC and working with other details when needed
