Job Summary
We are seeking motivated construction leadership at all levels to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and repairing traffic signals and related electrical systems. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help keep traffic flowing smoothly and safely across various construction sites and urban environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signals and electrical systems on construction sites
- Operate equipment such as mini skid, concrete saw, Tele handler, mini excavator, crane and various different trucks and trailers to support traffic signal projects
- Support paving activities and coordinate with construction teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Conduct site inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and project progress
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently
Skills
- Extensive experience with heavy highway electrical construction and traffic signal projects
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting schematics, and technical drawings
- Expertise in project scheduling, construction estimating, budgeting, and cost control
- Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
- Excellent managerial communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Hands-on experience supervising construction sites with a focus on quality assurance and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Must have a valid drivers license with less than four points, no reckless driving, suspensions or DUI in the last five years
- Ability to use hand and power tools to complete various task on the job site
- Prior experience in traffic signal installation or electrical work is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction processes related to general safety and traffic safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time
- Relevant certifications in traffic or construction environment are advantageous
- Lead and manage construction teams on highway electrical and traffic signal projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety standards
- Coordinate construction schedules to optimize workflow and resource allocation
- Review blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation
- Oversee activities, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards
- Conduct site inspections to monitor quality control, safety practices, and adherence to construction regulations
- Manage project documentation.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
