We're partnering with a growing, but best in class systematic trading firm to hire a Lead Infrastructure Generalist to help build, evolve and maintain the core infrastructure that underpins its technology platform.
This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative team working across Security, Engineering and Operations, with the chance to work on exciting greenfield projects where you'll have genuine ownership and the ability to influence technical decisions from day one. You'll play a key role in designing, building and improving the infrastructure that supports the business, working across compute, storage, networking and systems to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years' experience in Infrastructure or Systems Engineering within a complex technical environment.
- A strong understanding of operating systems, computer architecture and networking fundamentals.
- The ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar systems and solve problems from first principles.
- A hands-on engineer with a pragmatic, high-ownership mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
