Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and products. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, quality, cost, and safety requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo).
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
- Develop and test prototypes; analyze test results and implement design improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams.
- Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, technical reports, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 0–5+ years of experience (depending on the role).
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and material selection.
- Familiarity with FEA/CFD tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with project management.
- Knowledge of ASME/ISO standards.
- Exposure to ERP/PLM systems.
- Programming or automation knowledge (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW) is a plus.
