Role Description The Fleet Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Greensboro, NC, responsible for overseeing day-to-day fleet data entry, shop accounting, purchasing, and other supporting tasks. This role monitors vehicle maintenance schedules, helps coordinate maintenance and repairs, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Fleet Coordinator tracks repairs, fuel usage, and service intervals, maintains accurate records, and supports operations management with timely reporting. The role also involves communicating with drivers, project supervisors, and vendors to resolve issues quickly, support customer service commitments to keep projects running on schedule. The Fleet Coordinator collaborates with the fleet operations team to optimize fleet utilization and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

Demonstrated skills in Fleet Operations and Fleet Management, including scheduling, and tracking vehicles and equipment.
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to work effectively with drivers, internal teams, and external partners.
Experience in Operations Management or coordination roles within mechanical, logistics, or a related field.
Proficiency with fleet management software, spreadsheets, and basic data entry; ability to maintain organized records.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements related to commercial vehicles and construction sites.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in logistics, business, or construction management is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Greensboro, NC, including occasional overtime as field needs require.
