Production Coordinator
Position Type: Full Time / Onsite 5x a week
Salary Range: 60-70K

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Coordinator will support the Soft Home team in the development, production, and delivery of products, including bedding, sheets, bath, and other home textile categories. This role serves as a key liaison between overseas factories, internal teams, warehouses, and customers to ensure purchase orders are processed accurately, production milestones are met, and deliveries remain on schedule. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Assists in handling order processing, tracking orders, and order follow-up
- Communicate daily with internal/external partners regarding production and delivery information.
- Enter and maintain accurate product, purchase order, and shipment information within internal systems.
- Assist the production team with initial creation from sourcing and manufacturing to the finalized product.
- Cross-functional communication with design, sales & product development
- Communicate daily with overseas factories, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal teams regarding production status, shipment schedules, and delivery updates.
- Maintain and organize a sample room and sample information records.
- Submit samples on time to the customer for approval.
- Work with EDI requirements.
- Assists in the accounting department in checking invoices/ PL from factories.
- Submit suppliers’ invoices on time to the accounting department for payment weekly.
- Maintaining and updating the forecast chart
- Report on status updates of ongoing projects and tasks.
- Troubleshot challenges with realistic and creative solutions
- Maintain, Document, and implement efficient tracking strategies.
- Data Entry
- Perform related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
- Experience using AIMS is a plus.
- Experience with multinational trade and export is a plus.
- A strong knowledge of U.S. Customs laws and procedures is a plus.
- Experience with content, product & inventory management
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional Organizational Skills: planning, expediting, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks, and meeting corporate deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and effective time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent, with wholesale imports or related experience; or an Associate’s degree with 1 year of wholesale imports or related experience; or 2+ years in a wholesale imports or related role.
