Overview
The Regional Supply Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain performance across a defined region. This role oversees logistics, sourcing, distribution, and purchasing operations to ensure consistent product availability, cost efficiency, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Execution
- Manage regional cost of goods, aligning with financial targets and driving ~5% annual savings
- Track and improve KPIs (on-time delivery, order accuracy, case-fill rates)
- Build and maintain performance dashboards and reporting
Strategic Planning
- Develop 3-year supply plans with NPV-positive business cases
- Forecast demand and optimize sourcing strategies using data analytics
- Partner cross-functionally on long-term supply chain initiatives
Logistics & Distribution
- Optimize transportation and distribution networks across the region
- Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners
- Oversee last-mile delivery and real-time supply execution
Inventory & Product Supply
- Manage inventory levels to support launches, promotions, and transitions
- Coordinate product phase-ins/outs with suppliers
- Ensure compliance using inventory systems and predictive analytics
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with suppliers, farmers, distributors, and internal teams
- Support marketing and culinary initiatives with supply solutions
- Ensure purchasing data accuracy through audits and validation
Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
- 5-10+ years in supply chain, logistics, or distribution operations
- Strong experience with transportation, inventory, and procurement systems
- Data-driven mindset with advanced analytical capabilities
Leadership & Communication
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills
Strategic Thinking
- Experience building long-term supply strategies and business cases
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Sustainability (Preferred)
- Experience with sustainable sourcing or logistics practices
- Knowledge of food supply chains, agriculture, or traceability systems is a plus
