As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our management team and help lead projects throughout Connecticut, New England, and New York.
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple commercial millwork and finish carpentry installation projects from preconstruction handoff through project closeout.
This role requires strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The Project Manager will work closely with field foremen, general contractors, architects, vendors, and ownership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and at the highest level of quality.
This position is based out of our Essex, CT office, with regular jobsite visits throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial installation projects simultaneously
- Coordinate manpower scheduling, material deliveries, tools, and logistics
- Lead project handoff meetings with estimating and operations teams
- Communicate with clients, contractors, architects, and vendors regarding schedules, milestones, and project requirements
- Work directly with field foremen to maintain production, quality, and profitability goals
- Track project budgets, labor hours, and overall job performance
- Review and approve weekly field timesheets
- Assist in documenting and pricing change orders / additional work requests
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential issues before they impact schedule or profitability
- Help maintain strong client relationships and support future business development opportunities
- Collaborate with ownership and estimating teams to improve project planning and operational efficiency
- Enforce company safety standards and OSHA compliance on all projects
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or estimating within commercial construction
- 2+ years of experience in the architectural millwork or finish carpentry industry preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and jobsite coordination
- Experience managing multiple projects and field crews simultaneously

Schedule
Full-time
Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Additional hours as required based on project demands.
Work Location
Based in Essex, CT office with regular travel to active jobsites throughout Connecticut and the Northeast.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
