Job Summary for Network Systems Analyst (Tampa, FL)

Primary Focus: Hands-on implementation and support of Cisco ISE, Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage network segmentation, SASE, and NAC solutions.
Patch, upgrade, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Perform network device replacements, upgrades, and lifecycle refreshes.
Design, implement, and support network infrastructure across various operational sites (e.g., Power Plants, Solar Fields, Control Centers).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network infrastructure issues, including DDoS protection, segmentation, NAC, and load balancers (NetScaler).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for server, storage, and infrastructure deployments.
Lead projects related to network security, segmentation, and compliance.
Complete documentation and support network engineering tasks.
Required Experience & Skills:
5 7 years in network planning, design, implementation, and support (Cisco-focused).
8 years of network management with expertise in Cisco, WAN, SDN, and ACI.
Strong proficiency in Cisco equipment configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Experience implementing network segmentation and NAC enforcement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.
Working knowledge of cloud, compute, storage ecosystems, ITIL, and vendor management.
Preferred Experience & Certifications:
Experience in data center architectures, OT networks, utilities, or regulated industries.
Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, SDN networking (preferred).
Advanced IP networking knowledge and understanding of compliance/regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with network licensing, cloud networking, hybrid architectures.
Experience with load balancers (NetScaler, F5), SolarWinds/Net Flow, and DDoS protection.
Soft Skills:
Strong collaboration and communication in fast-paced, Agile environments.
Ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems.
Self-starter with focus on automation and continuous improvement.
