Position Summary
The Senior Director of Information Technology is a strategic and operational leader responsible for advancing and maximizing the impact of technology across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business objectives, drive efficiencies, and enable scalable growth.
The Senior Director will oversee the development, implementation, and support of enterprise systems, infrastructure, and applications while ensuring reliability, security, and performance. This individual will lead a high-performing IT team and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with company growth, efficiency goals, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on technology trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive innovation through the implementation of scalable, cost-effective technology solutions.
Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure, systems, applications, and support functions.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of all IT systems and services.
- Establish and optimize IT service delivery models, processes, and service level agreements.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, including managers, engineers, and analysts.
- Build a strong, scalable organizational structure with clear accountability and performance standards.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and solutions-oriented culture.
Application & Systems Management
- Oversee a portfolio of enterprise applications, including implementation, integration, support, and lifecycle management.
- Partner with business units to identify and deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Security, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure robust cybersecurity practices and compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
- Manage risk assessments, audits, and incident response processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain secure IT environments.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
- Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery performance.
- Evaluate and implement cost optimization strategies across technology investments.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce manual effort using automation, AI, and system enhancements.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational workflows and reporting capabilities.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading enterprise technology initiatives, system implementations, and operational scaling efforts.
- Demonstrated success in aligning IT strategy with business growth and operational efficiency.
