Job Title: Restoration Laborer

Job Summary: Arc Labor Group is seeking compassionate, hardworking individuals to join the front lines of property recovery. Step in when disasters like floods, fires, or storms strike to stabilize properties, prevent further damage, and help local families and businesses recover in their time of need.
Compensation:
- $20.00/hr - Restoration Laborer: Emergency restoration, water extraction, and site decontamination.
Responsibilities:
- Emergency Response & Mitigation: Assess property damage from fire, water, mold, or storms, and perform water extraction and structural drying in accordance with industry standards.
- Debris Removal & Decontamination: Safely remove damaged building materials and thoroughly clean, decontaminate, and deodorize affected interior spaces.
- Documentation & Communication: Use smartphone software to document job progress and communicate clearly and respectfully with clients.
- Daily Dispatch & Travel: Report to the Portsmouth warehouse each morning to receive the daily scope of work, then drive company vans (equipped with gas cards and EZ-Pass) to various job sites.
Requirements:
- Clean Driving Record: Because you will be operating company vehicles, you must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and have no restrictions that would prevent you from driving.
- Clearances: Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a drug screening (THC is excluded).
- Schedule Flexibility: Typical shifts run from 7:00/7:30 AM to 3:00/3:30 PM. Schedules vary based on operational needs, and overtime may be required on weekdays and occasionally on weekends.
- Physical Stamina & Gear: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform rigorous physical labor. You must supply your own steel-toed boots and work pants (jeans or khakis). We provide all required PPE and company-branded shirts, hoodies, and hats.
