Role Overview
This role sits within a Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) and plays a key part in strengthening end-to-end sourcing execution, supplier governance, and category intelligence.
The Coordinator supports both procurement intake and workflow execution (~50%) and supplier intelligence, category insights, and sourcing enablement (~50%), helping ensure procurement decisions are data-driven, well-governed, and aligned to category strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations & Intake Management
- Manage intake and triage of procurement requests including purchase requisitions, vendor proposals, and business requirement submissions
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of sourcing requests prior to routing
- Coordinate routing across key stakeholder groups including Procurement, Finance, Operations, IT, Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Safety
- Track approvals and ensure timely progression through sourcing and governance workflows
- Support continuous improvement of intake processes, templates, and stakeholder engagement to improve sourcing efficiency and cycle times
- Act as a key connector between requestors and procurement/category teams to ensure alignment on requirements and next steps
Supplier Intelligence & Category Support
- Support category managers with supplier segmentation, profiling, and rationalization (e.g., strategic, preferred, emerging, and non-preferred suppliers)
- Develop and maintain category workbooks including supplier landscape analysis, benchmarking, risk indicators, and innovation insights
- Maintain and update approved bidder lists (ABLs) and support supplier shortlisting for RFP/RFQ execution
- Assist with supplier onboarding, communications, and enablement activities
- Conduct market and supplier research to identify emerging capabilities, cost drivers, and supply risks
- Support development of category strategies, supplier performance tracking, and governance reporting
- Contribute to supplier scorecards, dashboards, and sourcing analytics to support decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- PMP or other project management certification strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain operations, supplier management, or market/competitive intelligence
- Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing lifecycle (intake → RFx → award → supplier management)
- Experience supporting category management, supplier segmentation, or sourcing analytics
- Ability to translate data into structured insights, reports, and procurement deliverables (workbooks, dashboards, supplier profiles)
- Familiarity with procurement governance, supplier risk concepts, and RFP/RFQ processes
- Strong communication skills with ability to partner across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in a COE, shared services, or centralized procurement environment is a plus
