We are seeking a Logistics Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy, bid management, and customer quoting for a growing transportation and logistics organization. This role plays a key part in driving business growth by developing competitive pricing models, managing bid opportunities, and supporting the sales team with accurate market-based rates.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in transportation pricing, freight brokerage bidding, and logistics market analysis, along with the ability to collaborate across teams to secure
profitable business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage competitive pricing strategies for transportation and logistics services.
- Lead the bid and proposal process, including analyzing customer lane data and submitting competitive pricing.
- Manage and maintain bid boards and pricing tools to ensure accuracy and timely responses.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support customer quoting and business development efforts.
- Analyze transportation market trends, carrier capacity, and lane pricing to inform strategic decisions.
- Audit pricing and ensure bids are competitive while maintaining company margins.
- Negotiate pricing with carriers and customers when necessary.
- Track and report on bid performance, win/loss data, and pricing trends.
- Support long-term business growth initiatives by identifying new opportunities and improving pricing strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience in transportation, freight brokerage, or logistics pricing.
- Strong background in bid management, lane pricing, and customer quoting.
- Ability to analyze market trends, carrier rates, and pricing data.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working with transportation management systems or pricing software preferred.
