Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Project Manager to oversee site improvement projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of site improvement projects, particularly grading and pipelaying management processes. This role requires effective leadership, communication, time management, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring project milestones are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of site improvement projects, from permitting to closeout, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Utilize construction management software such as Smartsheets, HeavyBid and Bluebeam for project estimating, tracking and reporting.
- Ability to review schematics and project plans to ensure feasibility and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to address any delays or issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed and work is performed according to specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, including updates on timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Foster a collaborative work environment by effectively communicating with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in site improvement management or project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of schematics and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration, conflict resolution and commitment to delivering results on schedule an on budget.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining attention to detail.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
