Job Description:

This is an entry-to-mid-level position. The ideal candidate will have background knowledge in the fields of construction, engineering, or mathematics. The position will require excellent written and oral communication, critical thinking skills, a professional appearance, and self-motivation. A four-year college degree and two years of experience in the commercial contracting industry are required for this position.

General responsibilities include:

Assisted the Project Manager with day-to-day operational tasks.
Owner/Architect communication and construction progress report preparation.
Creation of construction schedule using MS Project.
Manage and track daily work progress in conjunction with the project superintendent.
Cost study preparation and cost tracking.
Resolution of design and cost discrepancies.
Subcontractor submittal review and approvals.
Estimating and detailed material take-offs using an Excel-based estimating program.
Subcontractor pricing and contract preparation.
Marketing, sales, and corporate promotions.
