A major financial services organization in Chicago is looking for a sharp PMO professional to help keep a high-visibility program running smoothly behind the scenes.

Who Are You Working With?

You’ll be supporting a large-scale program within a financial services environment, partnering closely with oversight teams, delivery leads, and senior stakeholders. The team operates in a highly collaborative setting where governance, reporting accuracy, and operational execution are critical to keeping initiatives on track.

They’re looking for someone who can step in confidently, own the moving pieces, and help create structure across multiple workstreams without needing constant direction.

What Are You Doing?

This is a hands-on PMO contract role focused on governance, reporting, planning, and operational coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining MI dashboards in Power BI for different audiences and governance forums
Supporting financial forecasting and reporting activities
Managing RAID logs and ensuring risks, actions, and dependencies are properly tracked
Maintaining Jira structures and ticket accuracy across the program
Creating planning decks and leadership-ready project reporting
Organizing meetings, tracking actions, and keeping stakeholders aligned
Supporting adherence to change management and governance frameworks
Managing resource allocation tracking and program coordination tasks
Assisting with service readiness and broader program operational support
Maintaining and organizing SharePoint documentation and collaboration sites
Other responsibilities as needed

Who Are You?

You’re highly organized, naturally proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-moving enterprise environments. You know how to keep programs on track without creating unnecessary process overhead, and you’re confident communicating with both delivery teams and senior leadership.

You’ll likely have:

Prior PMO, Project Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Program Management experience
Experience within banking, financial services, or other regulated environments
Strong Power BI experience, particularly dashboard creation and reporting
Experience with Jira and SharePoint administration/support
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
Exposure to Agile environments or Scrum coordination responsibilities
