Position Summary
We’re seeking a skilled Intermediate Frame Carpenter to join our deck crews. This role involves building high-quality wood and composite decks, pergolas, and other outdoor structures according to plans and specifications. You should be confident in framing and structural work, able to work as part of a team, and committed to safety, quality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform framing and structural carpentry for decks, pergolas, and other outdoor projects
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and composite materials accurately
- Work closely with crew leads to meet quality and schedule standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely
- Follow all company safety policies and building codes
- Represent the company with professionalism on customer job sites
Requirements
- 2–5 years of carpentry or framing experience (deck experience preferred)
- Knowledge of wood and composite framing techniques
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be drug-free and pass pre-employment screening
- Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and commitment to quality work
