Our client is a national intermodal trucking company with an outstanding reputation in Texas. They are hiring a Terminal Manager with international and domestic drayage experience. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing multiple employees including scheduling, hiring, and on-boarding – a “working manager”
- Full P&L responsibility for the terminal
- Ensure compliance with all FMCSA and DOT regulations, with strong expertise in HOS
- Participate in the interview and hiring process for all terminal staff
- Responsible for the on boarding of new owner operators
- Oversee training programs for owner operators, office staff and other employees
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with intermodal trucking/IMC’s
- Class A driver dispatching experience in a terminal with over 25 drivers desired
- Track record of success in owner-operator environment
- International and domestic drayage experience required
- Computer proficient
- Punctual, dependable, and great communicator
- Strong eye for detail
- Driver following and customer relationships are a plus!
