Role Description
SwirlX is seeking a Head of Manufacturing & Productization to help scale advanced thermal hardware from prototype to production.
This role will lead manufacturing strategy, productization, supplier coordination, qualification processes, and operational execution for next-generation compact heat exchangers manufactured using advanced metal 3D printing technologies.
The ideal candidate has experience commercializing high-performance thermal hardware such as compact heat exchangers, microchannel systems, PCHEs, or other advanced cooling products. Prior experience in the metal additive manufacturing / industrial 3D printing industry is strongly preferred.
You will work closely with engineering teams, additive manufacturing partners, suppliers, and customers to improve manufacturability, quality, reliability, and production scalability.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, productization, or thermal hardware systems
- Experience with compact heat exchangers, microchannel, PCHE, or similar technologies
- Prior experience in the metal additive manufacturing / industrial 3D printing industry strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing quality and qualification processes
- Experience scaling hardware from prototype to production
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, suppliers, and customers
- Startup, aerospace, defense, or data center cooling experience preferred
