We are looking for a warehouse supervisor to work at a distributor in Dallas, Texas.
The Warehouse Supervisor, under the supervision of the Manager, plans, directs and coordinates the operations of the organization. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.
Monday-Friday, start time 10am; 1 Saturday/month as needed
Salary starts at $75,000, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities to include:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including selecting, shipping, receiving, materials handling, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage warehouse distribution processes to optimize order fulfillment and delivery timelines.
- Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements, including USDA and FDA regulations.
- Manages warehouse operations to maximize efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of delivery of finished goods to customers
- Assists with establishing annual goals and objectives, in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Coaches and mentors warehouse associates effectively, and builds strong teams
- Collaborates easily with all levels of warehouse operations.
- Utilize warehouse management system.
Qualifications:
- HS/GED degree
- Minimum 2 years extensive experience in warehouse supervision with a strong background in warehouse operations and distribution. Food industry experience greatly preferred.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehousing operations.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bilingual a plus
