We are seeking an energetic and experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in large-scale commercial and industrial construction to lead a multi‑discipline, large‑scale construction program from preconstruction through closeout with full accountability for schedule, quality, safety, stakeholder communication, and project accounting.
You will combine senior project leadership with deep financial controls to deliver projects on time and on budget. Most work will occur at specific sites, but will require relocation and travel. Project focus will be on specific customer and overseeing project coordinators at satellite locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Direct day‑to‑day field operations, subcontractor management, and client relationships.
- Financial Management: Own project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, cash flow management, and margin protection.
- Project Accounting: Manage billing cycles, change order negotiation and documentation, pay applications, retainage, and project close processes.
- Risk and Schedule Control: Implement schedule recovery, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
- Reporting: Produce executive‑level dashboards and detailed cost reports for stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure contract compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to company accounting policies.
- Team Development: Mentor project engineers, superintendents, and accounting liaisons.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years construction project management experience on large commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in project accounting: budgeting, forecasting, earned value, change management, and billing.
- Strong command of construction software systems and advanced Excel application skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex subcontractor packages and contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work on active job sites.
Preferred Qualifications (Or Equivalency in Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with large, multi‑year programs and public/private owner contracts.
- Familiarity with AIA billing, lien laws, and audit processes.
Duties (Not Limited To):
- Lead and oversee large commercial and industrial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop detailed project plans using construction management software to establish schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and clients, maintaining clear communication channels.
- Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Monitor construction site activities for safety adherence and quality standards; conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Manage project documentation including progress reports, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and incident reports.
- Utilize technical skills in construction management software to track progress and resolve issues proactively.
Requirements (Not limited to):
- Proven experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects with extensive travel involved.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools; experience with construction estimating is a plus.
- Proficiency in construction management software (ProCore)/Excel) and familiarity with schematics reading is essential.
- Solid understanding of contracts, blueprint reading, site safety protocols, and construction site experience.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Demonstrated leadership in large project coordination and team management within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
