Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead our warehouse and distribution operations. This role is critical to ensuring the compliant, efficient movement of raw materials and finished pharmaceutical products across our supply chain.
The Logistics Manager will oversee the warehouse team, act as a key liaison between internal departments, manage inbound and outbound logistics, and lead our e‑commerce fulfillment operations.
The ideal candidate brings pharmaceutical industry experience, strong NetSuite proficiency, and hands‑on expertise with e‑commerce logistics in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Warehouse and Logistics team and oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Oversee the receipt of APIs, excipients, and packaging components, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and GMP compliance
- Manage shipping and distribution of finished pharmaceutical products, including coordination with carriers and 3PL partners
- Serve as a cross‑functional liaison between Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams
- Own and optimize NetSuite workflows related to inventory, order management, shipping, and reporting
- Lead and manage e‑commerce operations, including order fulfillment, system integrations, and customer delivery performance
- Ensure full compliance with cGMP, FDA, and DOT regulations related to storage, handling, and transportation
- Develop and maintain SOPs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives for logistics and warehousing
- Support audits and inspections by ensuring documentation accuracy and operational readiness
- Drive scalability as production volume and order complexity grow
Our ideal candidate meets these criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experience
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated life sciences industry
- Strong hands‑on experience with NetSuite (inventory, fulfillment, and logistics modules)
- Proven experience supporting e‑commerce fulfillment operations
- Working knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and controlled material handling
- Strong leadership, organizational, and cross‑functional communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a startup or high‑growth manufacturing environment
A huge plus would be:
- Experience with sterile manufacturing
- Familiarity with cold chain or controlled room‑temperature logistics
- Background in process improvement or system implementations
- Experience scaling logistics operations from early‑stage to growth‑phase production
