The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a
Logistics Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
Marlborough, MA 01752 (Hybrid). Details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Pay: $25-35/hr
9-month assignment temp to perm depending on performance and budget
Shift will be hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain rate and location templates to streamline bid reviews
- Manage and organize contract repository, ensuring accurate tracking and communication of updates
- Coordinate cross-functional communication on rate and contract changes with internal and external partners
- Maintain provider activity database and deliver weekly status reporting
- Execute rate adjustments, contract updates, and annual escalator processes
- Analyze high-volume data with accuracy, identifying discrepancies and ensuring data integrity
- Troubleshoot rate and system issues with internal and external stakeholders
- Support executive presentations and provider business reviews
- Manage logistics provider relationships and serve as primary point of contact
- Research industry benchmarks and evaluate provider performance
- Support negotiation strategy and contract development
- Provide insights and analysis on contracts and reporting
Qualifications:
- 5+ years validated experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, analytics, or related field is a plus
- Highly skilled in Excel (advanced level), with expertise in functions and data analysis tools
- Technology tools experience including but not limited to: PowerPoint (advanced level)
- Data Visualization skills, proficient in PowerPoint
- Fundamental analytical skills for assessing sophisticated data, demand forecasting, network modeling, and principles of optimization which includes network optimization, product flow analysis, operations planning.
- Proven relationship management and accountability
- Transportation/Logistics industry, regulation, and contract understanding
