Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee project portfolio management, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth and operational excellence.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the project management lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop comprehensive program strategies, including scope management, risk management, cost control, and schedule management using tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and conduct root cause analysis to identify process improvements and implement effective solutions.
- Apply project management methodologies such as PMBOK, SAFe, or Kanban to optimize project workflows and enhance team productivity.
- Manage project teams by providing supervision, guidance, and mentorship while fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement through techniques like Kaizen and Lean principles.
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure compliance with contracts and service level agreements while managing vendor relationships effectively.
- Utilize data analysis skills to monitor project performance metrics such as earned value management (EVM) and generate detailed reports for executive review.
- Lead change management initiatives by communicating effectively across teams and facilitating meetings to resolve conflicts and align expectations.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in project management with a focus on IT infrastructure, product development, or process improvement projects.
- Proficiency in project management software tools including Jira, Confluence, Trello, Workday, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile (SAFe), Lean Six Sigma, and the project management lifecycle (PMBOK).
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in requirements analysis, process mapping, business process modeling, and requirements management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels through negotiation and effective communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
