VP, Programs & Operations – Hybrid | Denver, CO - Space Tech🛰️
We’re hiring for a VP of Programs & Operations with a fast-scaling space technology company supporting commercial and national security satellite missions.
This is a critical leadership role focused on building and leading the company’s execution engine -ensuring reliable delivery of mission-ready capabilities across complex government and commercial environments.
You’ll operate at a company-wide level, working closely with leadership to translate strategy into consistent, high-quality execution across engineering, product, and customer programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Own execution across all customer programs spanning government and commercial missions
- Act as the executive accountable for program delivery, mission readiness, and deployment success
- Build and scale the program management and operational execution function
- Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and customer teams
- Establish scalable processes for mission onboarding, deployment, and delivery
- Develop operational reporting, dashboards, and execution tracking frameworks
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve delivery speed and reliability
- Serve as a senior interface with government and commercial stakeholders
- Partner with leadership to ensure operational readiness for growth and new programs
Key Requirements
- 10+ years leading programs, operations, or delivery in complex technical environments
- Strong experience supporting government, aerospace, or national security programs
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams delivering mission-critical systems
- Experience building operational processes in fast-growing or evolving organizations
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including government customers
- Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
