Celebrating twenty years, The Edit is an established, full service post production facility positioned in the heart of Brighton’s bustling North Laine. We provide high quality post production service, from location DIT services through to final delivery. Our modern, sustainable post house consists of 14 offline edit suites, three grade suites and two cutting edge dubbing theatres with VO, ADR and Dolby Atmos facilities.
We are proud to collaborate with our clients on an extensive range of projects from feature documentary to factual entertainment and drama for all the main UK broadcasters, worldwide streamers and cinema release.
Most recently we've partnered on productions such as The Jury: Murder Trial (C4) The Hidden Treasures of the National Trust, Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr and The Repair Shop (BBC). We are looking for an experienced Dubbing Mixer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across all aspects of audio and be an integral part of the team at one of Brighton’s leading post houses.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a passion for sound and storytelling, polished creative flair, excellent client communication and collaboration skills to consistently deliver brilliant results - along with a desire to work smoothly with our wider team to continue achieving the highest quality standards on all our work.
The successful candidate will have a portfolio of broadcast credits demonstrating a strong background in factual entertainment and a versatility through a wide scope of work across all aspects of audio. They will thrive on teamwork, with a range of responsibilities, including those outlined below:
- Bring a strong, creative vision and flair to audio work on each production
- Collaborate successfully in translating the client’s creative direction
- Seamless leading of VO & ADR (in-house and remote sessions) with high profile talent, creatives and production
- Conform to existing in-house technical and organisational workflows whilst contributing proactively to the efficient use of studio resources and continuous improvement of workflows.
- Precise, meticulous production of assets to meet a diverse range of technical cinematic and broadcast standards
- Fluent in technical specifications for a range of broadcasters and deliverables
- Work productively with our in-house team, including technical staff and post producers
- Work independently, bringing an enthusiastic, motivated approach
