MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To execute logistics activities by processing shipment documentation, tracking deliveries, maintaining logistics records, and coordinating with logistics providers to support the timely and compliant movement of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Processes domestic and international shipment transactions in accordance with company procedures and operational requirements.
- Prepares shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and export/import documentation.
- Maintains shipment tracking records and updates shipment status in the maintenance system to ensure accurate shipment visibility.
- Coordinates shipment bookings with freight forwarders and logistics service providers.
- Maintains records related to shipment dispatch, receipts, and transportation documentation.
- Supports customs clearance processes by preparing and maintaining required documentation and coordinating with customs brokers.
- Coordinates with internal teams, including Purchasing, Component Management, Stores, and Cargo, to support shipment dispatch and receipt.
- Maintains logistics records related to freight costs, transportation charges, and customs-related expenses.
- Supports critical shipments and AOG logistics arrangements by preparing documentation and coordinating shipment processing.
- Maintains documentation required for compliance with export control regulations, non-proliferation requirements, dangerous goods regulations, and other international logistics standards.
- Maintains organised logistics documentation and shipment records to support internal and external audits.
- Supports the preparation of shipment reports and logistics data by maintaining accurate shipment tracking records.
- Ensures accurate system updates and documentation for all shipment transactions.
- Maintains records of shipment discrepancies, delays, and logistics issues and supports resolution by coordinating with logistics providers and internal teams.
- Supports logistics process improvement initiatives by maintaining operational data and identifying documentation or shipment tracking improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or related discipline.
- Fluent in English
- Experience in logistics operations, freight management, or supply chain coordination within an airline, MRO, or aviation-related organisation. Experience managing international shipments, customs clearance, freight forwarders, and AOG logistics.
- Systems Knowledge (if applicable) Knowledge of aviation ERP or maintenance systems such as AMOS, TRAX, or equivalent, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and shipment tracking tools.
- Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years
- Relevant aviation or supply chain certifications are an advantage.

Isr Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
