IT Director | Manufacturing

Stable10 is partnering with a growing manufacturing business to appoint an experienced, hands-onIT Directorto lead technology strategy, operations, and security across the organization.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can operate strategically while staying close to the day-to-day. You will drive digital initiatives that support manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and corporate functions, while ensuring secure, reliable IT services for employees and business partners.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and execute the IT strategy in line with business goals, with a focus on modernization, cloud adoption, and process automation.
- Oversee daily IT operations across infrastructure, networks, servers, endpoints, telecommunications, helpdesk, and third-party vendors.
- Own IT security and compliance, including patching, access controls, incident response, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner closely with manufacturing, supply chain, QA, and commercial teams to support ERP, MES, WMS, and other critical business systems.
- Deliver key technology projects including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and custom development, ensuring projects stay on scope, on time, and on budget.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing IT team, setting clear SLAs, KPIs, and performance expectations.
- Manage the IT budget, technology procurement, and vendor contracts.
- Establish and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure business readiness.
What we’re looking for
- 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing, supply chain, or CPG.
- 5+ years of experience working with D365 F&O or a similar ERP platform.
- Broad technical expertise across infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, virtualization, endpoint management, identity and access management, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
- A strong track record of delivering IT projects and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with compliance or regulatory requirements within food manufacturing would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or similar are a plus.
