Member Duties : The member will create and streamline systems across all aspects of the volunteer cycle. Volunteer Recruitment: The VISTA member will design systems to expand volunteer recruitment, ensuring reach to a wide audience across Tucson with a special focus on corporate volunteer groups. The VISTA will also design a system to increase the ease of scheduling volunteers for construction, office, HabiStore, and CHUCK Center services. Volunteer Management: the VISTA will ensure a robust and standardized volunteer orientation by reviewing current practices and making suggestions to relevant staff. They will also create a database for volunteer tracking and follow-up with a goal of increasing returning volunteers and engagement. They will also review and revise volunteer recruitment, management, and recognition tools. Event Coordination: The member will design systems to ensure relevant tracking and safety compliance are in place for events, especially build days.
