Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Westford, MA, for a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will design and develop mechanical systems, create and refine CAD models, and contribute to machine design projects. You will also play a key part in research and development initiatives, conduct testing and analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical projects. Additionally, you will support project management efforts by ensuring task completion within deadlines and budget constraints.
Qualifications
Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and product development practices
Experience with engineering design and CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks)
Hands-on experience in prototyping (3D printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, injection molding) and data analysis
Strong background in R&D, product validation, and experimental testing methodologies
Ability to lead and manage technical projects with strong organizational skills
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
Requirements
PhD, MS, BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required
Availability to start by May 2026
Availability to work onsite in Westford, MA
Compensation:
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position includes equity and cash components.
