Position Overview
Reporting to the Department Lead, the Floor Assistant’s primary goal is to oversee the execution of daily departmental activities and to ensure goals are met. This is a crucial part of the supply chain process and we are looking for someone who is up for the challenge.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate with lead to determine workload and set deadlines
· Direct the necessary daily activities while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all employees.
· Communicate company policy and verify policy is applied
· Create a positive and encouraging team dynamic
· Work side by side with team to ensure completion of daily tasks
· Coordinate and train temporary associates during peak seasons
· Provide status updates and workflow progress throughout the day
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· 3+ years’ experience as a Floor Assistant for a high-growth company
· A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
· 6+ months working at Kendra Scott’s Distribution Center or equivalent experience in a similar setting
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Ability to lift 40-60 lbs.
· Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
· A strong ability to build relationship with co-workers and keep others informed
· A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
