Position Summary
NAYA is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Information Technology to lead and scale the company’s technology infrastructure as we continue our rapid growth. This leader will oversee all technology across the organization, with a primary focus on restaurant systems, operational technology, and digital platforms that power the guest experience and restaurant performance.
The Vice President of IT will be responsible for ensuring that NAYA’s technology ecosystem — including POS, digital ordering, delivery integrations, back-office systems, and corporate technology — operates reliably, securely, and efficiently. This role will partner closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Development to ensure technology enables growth, improves operational efficiency, and enhances the guest experience.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and operational — capable of designing a long-term technology roadmap while also ensuring flawless day-to-day execution across restaurants and the support center.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Restaurant Technology & Systems
- Own the strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimization of all restaurant technology platforms, including POS, online ordering, third-party delivery integrations, payment systems, and kitchen display systems.
- Ensure restaurant technology is stable, scalable, and easy for operators to use, enabling strong restaurant execution and guest experience.
- Partner with Operations leadership to evaluate and deploy new technologies that improve speed of service, order accuracy, labor efficiency, and reporting visibility.
- Lead technology implementation for new restaurant openings, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and operational before launch.
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors, including POS, digital ordering platforms, delivery aggregators, and payment providers.
Technology Strategy & Infrastructure
- Develop and execute NAYA’s enterprise technology strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with company growth and operational priorities.
- Oversee all corporate and restaurant technology infrastructure, including network systems, hardware, security, and cloud-based platforms.
- Ensure reliable connectivity and technology uptime across all restaurant locations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies that can create a competitive advantage in restaurant operations and guest engagement.
Digital & Guest Experience Platforms
- Partner with Marketing and Digital teams to support and enhance mobile ordering, loyalty programs, catering platforms, and guest engagement technology.
- Ensure seamless integration between POS, digital ordering, delivery platforms, and data reporting systems.
- Lead efforts to improve the digital guest experience and omnichannel ordering capabilities.
Data, Reporting & Systems Integration
- Oversee integration between operational systems, including POS, finance, HRIS, payroll, inventory, and analytics platforms.
- Ensure leadership has access to accurate, real-time reporting to support data-driven decision making.
- Partner with Finance and Operations to improve reporting related to sales, labor, inventory, and restaurant performance.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Establish and maintain strong cybersecurity practices across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, PCI standards, and payment security requirements.
- Implement safeguards to protect company systems, guest data, and internal information.
IT Operations & Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team that supports both restaurant and corporate technology needs.
- Establish clear processes for help desk support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
- Ensure restaurants receive timely and effective support for all technology-related issues.
- Create scalable systems and processes that support NAYA’s continued growth.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Information Technology, with significant experience supporting multi-unit restaurant or retail environments.
- Deep knowledge of restaurant technology ecosystems, including POS systems, digital ordering platforms, delivery integrations, and payment systems.
- Experience leading enterprise technology strategy and large-scale system implementations.
- Strong understanding of systems integration, network infrastructure, and cloud-based platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and HR.
- Experience managing external vendors and technology partners.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Willing to work and or be on call, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
