The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for driving best-in-class planning and replenishment across KIKO North America, ensuring optimal product availability across KIKO free-standing stores, e-commerce, and wholesale channels.
This role requires strong analytical rigor and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights. The Demand Planning Manager will proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide thoughtful commentary to inform commercial and supply chain decisions. Success in this role requires comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the ability to build and refine processes where structure may not yet exist.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Analyze sell-in and sell-out performance to evaluate product trends, identify risks/opportunities, and develop forward-looking SKU-level forecasts across all North America channels.
- Translate data into clear insights and recommendations, providing regular business commentary to inform cross-functional decision-making
- Manage product lifecycle planning, including phase-in / phase-out strategies, sell-down planning, and SKU transitions, ensuring smooth execution with minimal obsolescence risk
- Execute replenishment planning across stores, e-commerce, and wholesale, balancing service level targets with inventory efficiency
- Monitor and optimize KPIs including service level, stock coverage, inventory health, and obsolescence; proactively define and implement corrective actions
- Ensure accurate and timely store replenishment for both finished goods and POP materials
- Identify inventory risks (excess or shortage) and partner cross-functionally to mitigate through rebalancing, promotional strategies, or supply adjustments
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Marketing, Assortment, and HQ Supply Chain) to align on demand drivers, launches, and promotional plans
- Act as a key liaison between North America and Headquarters Supply Chain teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and execution in a matrix environment
- Build, refine, and standardize planning processes and tools to improve visibility, accuracy, and scalability
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or merchandising within a retail or consumer goods environment (experience in a matrix organization is a plus)
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to synthesize data into insights, tell a clear story, and influence business decisions
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and operate effectively in less structured environments, with a track record of building or improving processes
- Experience managing product transitions (e.g., phase-in/out, SKU rationalization, or SKU switches)
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions while remaining solutions-oriented (“disagree and commit”)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with planning tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
