Our client is seeking a Head of IT Infrastructure to lead the strategy, design, and operation of enterprise infrastructure environments. This hybrid role in Columbus, OH is ideal for a senior IT leader who can balance strategic planning with hands‑on oversight of infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, and security while aligning technology with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure strategy across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments
- Oversee servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and end‑user computing
- Ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure
- Manage cloud platforms, infrastructure modernization, and optimization initiatives
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans
- Establish infrastructure standards, governance, and best practices
- Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure and operations teams
- Partner with security, application, and business teams
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers
- Drive infrastructure roadmaps aligned to growth and future needs
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience
- Prior experience in senior infrastructure leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise systems
- Experience managing infrastructure environments
- Proven leadership and team development experience
