Job Summary – Lead Data Center Technician (New Albany, OH)
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cabling infrastructure in data center environments.
- Lead and mentor a team of 1-5 technicians, ensuring high-quality and safe project completion.
- Interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and wiring diagrams; perform job walks and communicate requirements with customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and best practices.
- Install, test, terminate, label, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling (including analog, DSL, T1 lines, MDF/IDF closets).
- Maintain organized paperwork, track crew timesheets, and provide structured project feedback to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles and drive operational excellence.
- Work all shifts in a 24/7 data center environment; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
- No Bachelor’s degree required; OSHA 30 and union workforce experience preferred.
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and employment verification.
