POSITION: Logistics Coordinator

Job Purpose: The Logistics Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for all shipments to ensure that all shipments are handled proactively and professionally. They will be expected to perform and complete daily operational tasks to meet and exceed customers' expectations in compliance with all relevant regulations and company targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily business with dozens of overseas vendors in but not limited to Asia, Europe, South America, and the US.
- Ensure all production schedules are met, and finished goods are delivered on time to port and/or warehouse.
- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising, quality, and planning/inventory teams daily.
- Track and fix shipment errors.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with contracted external service providers and analyze their performance for improvement.
- Find new resources to expand shipping capacity and efficiency, including negotiating with carriers, brokers, and other 3PL's.
- Book international shipment , TO from USA to IT, Netherlands, Hongkong.
- Review and ensure all bills of ocean freight, air cargo, and other related invoices are accurate and processed in time.
- Analyze information related to shipments, production capacity, purchasing plan, cost negotiations, tariffs, and customs duties.
- Communicate and interact with our US office, carriers, vendors, and customers, as well as internal warehouse team members and customer service representatives, to ensure proper order status, delivery, arrangements, and service.
- Create best practices and SOP for all imports domestic and exporting shipping via carrier, air, ocean, or rail.
- Trace, track, and expedite shipping/delivery processes, including arrival notice data, entry, rate verification, ISF filing, Customs documentation, and others.
- Organize shipping and receiving files manually and electronically.
- Work with accounting department and customs broker to ensure shipments are cleared on time.
- Coordinate deliveries for all new orders, raw material or finished goods, and/or repair products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any delivery problems and/or delays to ensure our shipments will be delivered successfully, including identifying and troubleshooting all transportation-related jobs.

Qualifications:
- At least 2 – 3 years of experience in an import logistics environment
- Familiar with VAT and international importation laws
- Experience with handling multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and organization
- Must be strong in Microsoft Excel
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Excellent time managing skills
- Must have a positive attitude and outlook and results-driven
- Strong working knowledge of the industry and brand landscape
- Experience working with a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment
