The Executive Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate and oversee operations to assure achievement of set goals and deliverables. The role will develop and execute regional company strategies, prepare, and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement of desired results. The role will oversee operations in USA, Mexico and Canada with primary responsibility for ensuring operational excellence in receiving, warehousing, light manufacturing/assembly, inventory management, and order fulfillment. The position is accountable for delivering high levels of customer service, on-time shipment performance, and efficient utilization of labor, equipment, and facility capacity.

- Oversees day-to-day operations for US, Mexico and Canada, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance with local regulations while maintaining strong performance in safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, and on-time customer delivery.
- Establishes, monitors, and continuously improves key operational performance indicators including on-time delivery, order fulfillment cycle time, inventory accuracy, warehouse throughput, labor productivity, and cost per unit shipped. Ensures accountability throughout the organization for achieving operational performance targets.
- Ensures operations consistently meet or exceed customer service expectations, including order accuracy, on-time shipment performance, and responsiveness to customer demand.
- Support implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and maximize profitability including process standardization, lean initiatives, and productivity improvements across receiving, warehousing, assembly, and shipping operations.
- Develops and manages budget for Operations with focus on achieving revenue and profit targets while improving cost efficiency in labor, freight, inventory carrying costs, and facility utilization.
- Monitors financial performance, identify variances, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Supports in assuring development and execution of demand forecasts models to support accurate inventory management and production planning and alignment with operational capacity and labor planning.
- Partners with other Executive Managing Directors to develop and implement global standards related to operations, safety, and quality in support of strategic organizational goals.
- Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the leadership team and board of directors.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This role has full supervisory responsibility over US, Mexico and Canada Operations. The role will provide direct day-to-day guidance to Regional Directors or VPs of Operations. The position is responsible for ensuring operational alignment across all facilities, including warehouse operations, distribution, and light manufacturing/assembly. The role will be responsible for completing performance evaluations review, compensation reviews, and support in onboarding and offboarding process.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. At times, employee might be exposed to manufacturing environment, including forklift traffic, fumes, noise, and operating manufacturing equipment. This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work schedules.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. In order to meet our customer demands and internal objectives, at times this role will be required to work outside of the normal schedule, including weekends.
Travel:
Travel is expected for this role. Some overnight and weekend travel will take place as it relates to customer visits, trade shows or training events.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience and/or education.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working leadership roles, overseeing multi plant operations.
- Track record of successfully achieving positive financial results.
- Track records of managing and building highly effective teams.
- Commitment, energy and enthusiasm for the role are must-haves, along with the drive to succeed.
- Proven team player, with an appetite for coaching and teaching.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience working in manufacturing or national distribution industries.
- Masters Degree in relevant field of study.
