The ideal candidate will posses’ quality engineering skills in the automotive industry coupled with high energy and self-motivation. This candidate will take the lead in ensuring that our products and services reach high quality standards. In this pivotal role, the candidate will be the architect of quality, planning, processes, and procedures that meet customer needs.

Advance Quality Planning Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with manufacturing to ensure communication and implementation of quality requirements and systems.

2. Ensure continuous control over materials and products.

3. Conduct thorough inspections of processes products and materials to identify defects, nonconformity, and areas to improve.

4. Manage customer complaints for root cause, countermeasure, and closure.

5. Regularly monitoring customer quality websites

6. Participate in customer meetings and visits.

7. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality management, and make recommendations for process improvements and technology adoption.

8. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including quality control procedures, inspection reports and corrective action plans.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years related work experience required (automotive is preferred)

· Experience and working knowledge MSA, Gage R&R and using measuring equipment/gages required.

· Metrology, SPC & GDT knowledge (CMM Machine experience or exposure)

· Proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) required.

· APQP knowledge required. Must be familiar with APQP Process and all elements of PPAP preferred.

· Must have strong analytical skills along with effective time and project management skills.

· Must of knowledge in the area of SPC Control.

· Experience with Capacity Analysis and OEE

· Familiar with TS16949

· Experience with customer portals.
