Job Description
The Director-Facilities Systems is a strategic leadership role that bridges Facilities Management and Information Technology to modernize and optimize infrastructure operations. The position is responsible for shaping and executing enterprise-wide facilities informatics vision, leveraging data, digital platforms, artificial intelligence (AI), and emerging smart technologies to improve performance, efficiency, and long-term organizational growth. Ensures seamless integration between facilities systems and the broader digital architecture, aligning with data governance standards and digital transformation initiatives across the enterprise. By embedding facilities into the larger technology ecosystem, it drives cost reduction, enhances asset reliability, and enables more sustainable, intelligent infrastructure through innovations such as predictive analytics, smart building systems, digital twins, and automated maintenance solutions. Advances AI-driven and innovative facilities initiatives, such as predictive maintenance, energy optimization, space utilization analytics, and real-time monitoring, helping the organization proactively manage assets and improve decision-making. Effectively maintains transparent stakeholder engagement, manages expectations, communicates risks or delays, and builds trusted relationships across enterprise teams while helping guide projects through the full lifecycle. May also involve hands-on coordination of facilities related projects, including gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements, defining scope and objectives, and organizing resources to address gaps.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in Information Technology leadership, enterprise systems, or related fields. Proven experience leading large-scale, enterprise technology initiatives and digital transformation efforts. Strong knowledge of Information Technology infrastructure and system architecture. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in complex healthcare organizational environments. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, capital planning, and ROI analysis for technology investments. Excellent communication, executive presentation, and management skills. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and oversight to assist facilities-related technology platforms, and analytics systems.
- Partners with other technology partners, internal and external, to ensure seamless integration, interoperability, and scalability of facilities systems within the enterprise ecosystem as needed.
- Establishes and enforces data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance as related to facilities teams.
- Assists and leads advanced analytics initiatives, including predictive maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
- Oversees and assists with development of executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Drives innovation through adoption of AI, smart building technologies, automation, and emerging digital capabilities related to facilities clinical care environments.
- Assists with vendor relationships, system selection, and contract negotiations for all facilities technologies.
- Collaborates with capital planning, real estate, and operations leadership to support long-term infrastructure strategy.
- Aligns facilities informatics initiatives with sustainability, resilience, and energy management goals.
- Assists in system implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assists with creation of long and short-term project plans, to include setting project milestones, target completion dates, and ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
- Adjusts project schedule and target completion dates on the project as needed to accommodate for change related to the project.
- Communicates with Facilities Executive teams to ensure the assigned initiatives are aligned with organizational goals.
- Assists AVPs and Directors with developing and implementing new processes, standards, and operational plans, including Project and Planning services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
