Job Summary – Network Technician (Ocoee, FL)

Provide support and maintenance for network systems (LAN, WLAN, WAN) at a remote location 60 miles from headquarters.
Proactively monitor and ensure stable, dependable network services across multiple platforms.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, fiber distribution, and wireless systems.
Manage network configurations from DMARC to workstations, ensuring high Quality of Service (QoS).
Utilize network management applications to identify and resolve network faults, ensuring reliable data and telecommunications access.
Collaborate with vendors and network facilities for timely problem resolution.
Communicate firewall rule requirements to the Information Security Team for new projects and equipment.
Perform capacity/resource planning, risk assessment, and contingency planning for network operations.
Track incidents and IT equipment transfers through service desk ticketing systems.
Adhere to departmental procedures and policies, including on-site travel for support and resource deployment.
Provide support at offices and remote locations; frequent travel required.
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (evenings and weekends).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills: IT enterprise network experience, preferably with HPE/Aruba equipment; Windows 11, Active Directory, MECM support; CompTIA Network+ and/or Security+, Cisco CCNA preferred; strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
