Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support and coordinate day-to-day logistics activities within our medical and pharmaceutical operations. This role is responsible for executing logistics processes, tracking shipments, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic and international transportation, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Schedule pickups, deliveries, and freight movements; monitor shipment status; and resolve routine issues or delays in coordination with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
Prepare, review, and maintain logistics and shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates, and regulatory-required materials.
Assist with inventory tracking, lot control, expiration monitoring, and logistics recordkeeping in coordination with Operations and Finance.
Support compliance with FDA, GDP, and other applicable medical and pharmaceutical logistics requirements, escalating concerns as appropriate.
Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for logistics vendors, manufacturers, warehouses, and fulfillment partners, supporting shipment execution and issue resolution.
Track logistics costs, timelines, and service metrics; prepare reports and provide operational insights to support planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost efficiencies, and service enhancements, and participate in logistics-related projects as assigned.
Role Scope & Decision Authority
This position is primarily execution-focused and operates within established company procedures while exercising independent judgment in routine logistics matters. The Logistics Coordinator is expected to support planning activities, vendor coordination, and operational decision-making by providing recommendations, data, and logistical insight. The scope of authority may expand over time based on experience, performance, and business needs.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination, shipping, or supply chain operations.
Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries strongly preferred.
Familiarity with FDA, GDP, or other regulated logistics environments is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and logistics or ERP systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
