Senior Plant Manager
Food Manufacturing
Location: Washington DC/Baltimore Area
You know the difference between running a plant and truly leading one.
One is about hitting today’s numbers. The other is about building something that performs long term.
This role is firmly the second.
A growing food manufacturing business is investing heavily into one of its key sites. New equipment, automation projects, and significant capital spend are already underway. The ambition is clear, with plans to scale significantly over the next four to five years, and this plant will play a central role in getting them there.
They now need a Senior Plant Manager who can take ownership of that journey. Someone who can set a clear direction, execute it with discipline, and bring the team with them. This is not about maintaining the status quo. It is about elevating performance and building a site ready for what comes next.
You will need to bridge engineering and operations. Comfortable leading capital projects, improving reliability, and modernising equipment, while also being visible on the floor, coaching your leadership team, and driving accountability day to day.
You will likely have come from an engineering or maintenance background earlier in your career before progressing into plant leadership. You understand how to deliver through others, develop capability, and create alignment across a site that is evolving.
If you are looking for a role where you can shape a site’s future while being part of a business with genuine growth ambition, this is worth a conversation.
