Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced
Supply Chain Manager for our client, the leading manufacturer of strength and conditioning equipment in Columbus!
This is a full-time, direct hire position based onsite in Columbus, OH.
Position Overview
Own and optimize the end-to-end supply chain processes, focusing on procurement, inbound logistics, and vendor management. You will lead a small team, with the potential to expand and strengthen the function, and serve as a key advisor to executive leadership. Your expertise in purchasing, logistics, and data analysis will drive cost efficiencies, operational excellence, and innovative use of AI technologies.

Responsibilities
- End-to-End Supply Chain Oversight: Lead procurement, inbound logistics, customs compliance, and vendor management to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a team of 1–3 direct reports, fostering a high-performance, innovative environment.
- Data Analytics & Forecasting: Use advanced Excel modeling, dashboards, and analytics to optimize purchasing, inventory planning, and cost management.
- Technology & Automation Implementation: Integrate AI tools and automation to improve supply chain visibility, efficiency, and proactive risk management.
- Global Logistics Management: Oversee international ocean freight, domestic transportation, and trade programs such as FTZs and duty drawback initiatives.
- Performance & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor KPIs, ensure import/export compliance, manage vendor negotiations, and conduct internal audits to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Transportation, Operations or a related field required (MBA a plus)
- 5+ years in procurement, supply chain, or logistics within a growth-oriented or tech-forward environment
- Proven experience in inbound freight, container logistics, tariffs, and customs compliance
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, data modeling, and predictive analytics
- Demonstrated success in leading or developing teams, with a focus on building scalable functions
- Enthusiasm for leveraging AI, automation, and innovative technologies to modernize supply chain operations
Compensation & Benefits
This full-time position offers an annual base salary up to $160k + bonus, commensurate with experience. The organization provides a robust benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage in addition to paid time off.
